About the role
- Actively shape Usability Engineering and support design validation in agile development projects – from initial concept to market launch
- Plan and conduct realistic user tests – both internal and external – with a focus on users, including documentation and compliance with relevant standards
- Represent the users' perspective, provide key input during requirements gathering and risk analysis, and contribute your expertise directly to the development process
- Independently coordinate complex work packages, manage internal and external partners, and ensure results are delivered on time and to a high standard
- Prepare product approvals by compiling and preparing all required documentation for international market authorizations (e.g., EU, USA, China)
Requirements
- Completed master’s degree, ideally in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, or an engineering/natural science discipline with a focus on Human Factors
- Several years of professional experience in the development of medical devices or in vitro diagnostics (IVD)
- Knowledge and experience in planning and executing user tests
- Confident collaboration with internal and external partners
- Clear and persuasive communication, professional presence, and business-fluent English – written and spoken
