About the role

  • Develop and design modern, scalable services and other backend components using modern development tools
  • Implement software applications using Java EE and Spring Boot
  • Responsible for integrating interfaces to web services (REST/SOAP) and third-party systems, as well as for designing relational databases (SQL)
  • Apply modern development practices such as TDD and Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
  • Assist with conducting code reviews and ensuring sustainable problem resolution

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification with IT relevance
  • Strong knowledge in several of the following technologies: JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Docker, Hibernate, Eclipse, SQL, REST, SOAP, Jira, JUnit, Jenkins, Angular
  • Team player with a high degree of initiative
  • Good German and English skills
