About the role

  • Work on core retail business applications (customer journeys, order management, back-office, internal tools) within agile teams organized as feature teams.
  • Serve as the Java/Angular technical point of contact for the teams.
  • Design and evolve high-traffic, high-volume applications.
  • Define and promote development best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and support the upskilling of team members.
  • Participate in application architecture decisions.
  • Contribute to technical scoping phases and agile ceremonies.
  • Propose improvements to performance and solution quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Java development.
  • Proven experience in a technical lead or reference role.
  • Strong professional experience with Angular.
  • Good understanding of distributed architectures.
  • Ability to mentor, unite teams and support skill development.
  • Comfortable communicating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Autonomous, responsible, with a strong quality mindset.
