About the role
- Design, rewrite and optimize stored procedures and SQL / PL/SQL processes
- Actively participate in migrating Sybase databases to SQL Server
- Ensure code quality, performance and maintainability
- Collaborate with functional, business and infrastructure teams in a demanding environment
- Participate in production deployments and provide application support for developed solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and migration processes
- Work in an Agile methodology, closely aligned with technical and project teams
Requirements
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science (engineering school or university)
- 3 to 8 years of experience in database-oriented development
- Excellent command of SQL Server (stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning)
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Sybase environments
- Proven experience migrating Sybase to SQL Server (rewriting, adaptation, testing)
- .NET / C# skills are a plus
