About the role

  • Design, rewrite and optimize stored procedures and SQL / PL/SQL processes
  • Actively participate in migrating Sybase databases to SQL Server
  • Ensure code quality, performance and maintainability
  • Collaborate with functional, business and infrastructure teams in a demanding environment
  • Participate in production deployments and provide application support for developed solutions
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and migration processes
  • Work in an Agile methodology, closely aligned with technical and project teams

Requirements

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science (engineering school or university)
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in database-oriented development
  • Excellent command of SQL Server (stored procedures, functions, triggers, performance tuning)
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and Sybase environments
  • Proven experience migrating Sybase to SQL Server (rewriting, adaptation, testing)
  • .NET / C# skills are a plus
  • Rigor, autonomy, attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
  • Strong analytical and communication skills in a structured banking environment
