About the role
- Provide legal support for corporate development activities including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
- Serve as legal point of contact for employment-related matters
- Oversee drafting and negotiation of vendor and commercial contracts
- Lead litigation and dispute management efforts
- Act as a trusted legal advisor to senior leaders
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Significant progressive legal experience
- Experience in corporate transactions, employment law, commercial contracting, and litigation management
- Experience advising senior leaders and managing complex, high-risk legal matters
- Prior in-house experience and experience managing outside counsel strongly preferred
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (California preferred or ability to obtain)
