About the role
- Lead the creation and integration of product Homologation programs and ensure their success.
- Provide guidance and education to teammates on domestic and international regulations, certification requirements and new regulatory standards.
- Generate product documentation required to satisfy certification by collaborating with product and design teams, suppliers, third-party test houses and test engineers.
- Review and analyze technical drawings, schematics and requirements.
- Participate in specification and design reviews to ensure they will meet necessary regulatory requirements.
- Conduct and oversee in-house and third-party regulatory testing.
- Develop expertise in existing and upcoming mobility regulations.
- Assist in homologation program management to prepare for future regulatory changes.
- Develop and maintain a homologation roadmap aligned with product timelines and market launch plans.
- Work with design and engineering teams to ensure early integration of regulatory requirements in the product development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of homologation or testing experience.
- Thorough working knowledge of domestic and international regulatory requirements and other relevant standards for various smaller-than-car electric vehicle form factors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organization skills.
