About the role
- Write, edit, and refine copy for marketing campaigns, including email, social media, paid ads, and sales collateral.
- Develop clear, persuasive, and on-brand copy for the company website, ensuring consistency in tone and messaging.
- Support communications and PR efforts by contributing to press releases, media statements, and thought leadership pieces as needed.
- Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, marketers, and product teams to create cohesive storytelling across platforms.
- Help maintain and evolve brand voice guidelines, ensuring consistency across all content.
- Draw upon research to deeply understand our audience, industry trends, and competitive landscape—especially as that learning evolves post product launch.
- Proofread and edit materials to uphold high editorial standards.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional writing experience, ideally in marketing, advertising, or digital media.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of marketing and web content (Communications and PR samples a plus).
- Ability to adapt tone and style for different channels and audiences.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content strategy.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in strong consumer-facing brands and categories and a demonstrated ability to learn complex topics quickly.
