About the role
- Define, document, and implement governance for Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 Copilot at the FDIC.
- Define, document, and implement compliance (and compliance enforcement) for Power Platform solutions, SharePoint, and Copilot integrations.
- Lead governance working sessions with key stakeholders to align standards, policies, and enforcement processes.
- Author and maintain governance documentation (plans, SOPs, presentations).
- Work with Communities of Practice (CoP) members and platform teams to ensure adherence to governance standards.
- Provide guidance, support, and training for Power Platform, SharePoint, and Copilot use by developers, citizen developers, and end users.
- Answer questions related to standards, guidelines, and best practices across Power Platform, SharePoint, and Copilot.
- Provide recommendations and develop training materials to support secure and compliant adoption.
- Conduct ad-hoc training as needed.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree
- 5+ years of administration and governance support experience
- Proven hands-on experience with: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Automate Desktop; Power Pages if applicable)
- SharePoint Online governance and administration
- Microsoft 365 Copilot governance, compliance, and adoption
- Proficient understanding of Microsoft 365 services and general IT practices
- Experience with admin tools in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview
- Strong knowledge of AI governance, compliance, and data privacy standards
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong customer-facing experience
- Well-organized and proficient in Microsoft 365 collaboration and app development
- Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills
- Certifications PL-900 (Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals) – Required to start
