About the role
- Monitor networks, servers, and systems 24/7 using monitoring tools
- Detect, analyze, and respond to incidents and alerts in real time
- Perform initial troubleshooting of network, hardware, and software issues
- Escalate incidents to Level 2/3 teams according to defined procedures
- Log, update, and document incidents in ticketing systems
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and operational KPIs
- Perform connectivity tests and performance checks
- Support scheduled maintenance activities and infrastructure changes
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and, when applicable, with customers
- Maintain updated technical documentation and follow operational procedures
Requirements
- Degree or training in IT, Networking, Systems, or a related field
- Previous experience in a NOC or technical support environment
- Solid knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN)
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.)
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Basic knowledge of network security
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy)
- Ability to work in shifts (including nights/weekends, if applicable)
