About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and review supplemental health insurance litigation matters, identifying critical issues and appropriate strategies for each case
- Draft legal memoranda and court filings of low, medium, and high complexity, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with deadlines
- Act in trial and appellate proceedings under both ordinary and expedited procedures
- Monitor high-volume litigation matters, tracking case progress and taking the appropriate measures at each stage
- Prepare strategic legal reports and communicate litigation strategies to clients
- Support the organization and oversight of case data and the department’s internal workflows
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in litigation, preferably in high-volume litigation environments
- Strong command of high-volume litigation procedures and requirements
- Experience in the supplemental health insurance sector will be considered a competitive advantage
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and the regulatory framework governing the supplemental health insurance sector will be considered an advantage
- Knowledge of matters involving health insurance providers will be considered an advantage
