About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare deadlines and initial pleadings, ensuring procedural organization and compliance with legal requirements.
Monitor and track procedural deadlines, ensuring the proper progress of cases.
Analyze legal documents, identifying information relevant to the cases.
Organize documents and procedural filings for proper case file preparation.
Conduct case law and jurisprudence research to support the legal reasoning in pleadings.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active and in-good-standing OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) registration.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience handling judicial and administrative proceedings, including drafting pleadings, defining legal strategies and rigorous deadline management.
Highly organized with strong deadline-management skills, focused on the technical quality of deliverables.
Proficiency with legal tools, case-management software and court systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with technical practice and consultative, strategic client service.
Knowledge and experience in Medical Law / Health Law, with familiarity with healthcare regulations, medical liability, hospital contracts and regulatory matters.
Postgraduate degree in Medical Law is desirable, as well as postgraduate studies in Civil Law and/or Civil Procedure with a practical application focus.
