About the role
- Analyze and review private health care litigation cases, identifying critical issues and developing appropriate strategies for each matter.
- Draft pleadings and procedural documents of low, medium and high complexity, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- Act in the trial and appeals phases under both ordinary and summary procedures, ensuring proper management of judicial matters.
- Monitor high-volume/mass litigation dockets, tracking case progress and taking appropriate actions at each stage.
- Prepare strategic legal reports and communicate litigation strategies to clients, contributing to decision-making and case management.
- Support the organization and control of case data and internal department workflows, promoting efficiency and smooth work processes.
Requirements
- Prior experience in contentious litigation, preferably in high-volume litigation environments, with a strong command of the routines and requirements of mass litigation.
- Experience in the supplementary health sector (private health insurance), including knowledge of applicable legislation and the regulatory dynamics of the sector; familiarity with issues involving health plan operators will be considered a significant competitive advantage.
