About the role
- Planning and conducting wound rounds, wound documentation, and creating wound assessments
- Optimal wound prophylaxis; prevention or minimization of pain burden
- Supporting treating physicians with conventional wound care
- Training our nursing staff (e.g., instruction and onboarding for wound care, infection control)
- Individual basic and treatment care for residents
- Documentation of the care process (medication administration, care protocols, etc.)
- Responsibility for care quality and communication with residents and their relatives
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a registered nurse, geriatric nurse and/or health and nursing nurse with additional qualification in wound management
- Team player with empathy in interactions with residents and colleagues
- Independent, solution-oriented work style and a sense of humor
- Willingness to work across all shifts
- Basic IT affinity / comfort with IT systems
