About the role
- Planning and conducting wound rounds and maintaining wound documentation
- Conducting wound assessments and taking wound history (wound anamnesis)
- Implementing optimal wound prevention measures and preventing or minimizing pain
- Supporting treating physicians with conventional wound care
- Training nursing staff in wound care procedures and infection control, including instruction and onboarding
- Providing individual basic and treatment care for residents
- Documenting the care process for each resident (medication administration, care protocols, etc.)
- Contributing to maintaining care quality and being open and responsive to residents and their relatives
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a certified nurse, geriatric nurse and/or health and nursing care professional with additional wound manager qualification
- Team player with empathy in dealings with residents and colleagues
- Independent, solution-oriented working style
- Willingness to work all shifts
- Basic IT affinity / comfort with IT systems
