About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Front Desk Support
- Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages
- Greet, welcome, and assist visitors appropriately
- Notify staff promptly of visitor arrival and coordinate visitor access
- Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions
- Open, sort, and route incoming mail and packages
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain the mail room in an organized, clean, and functional condition
- Operate office machines such as copiers, scanners, voice mail systems, and computers
- Support teleworking staff as needed through email and Microsoft Teams
- Assist with Facility Needs and act as a liaison to the Facilities Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible clerical/administrative/office management experience
- Experience in healthcare and with confidential information preferred
- Or Associate degree in business administration or similar program
- Ability to practice effective communication techniques both orally and in writing
- Considerable knowledge of effective practices and ability to plan and complete projects
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Skill in organizing work flow and coordinating activities
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Products
