About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, calibrate, and commission heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
- Connect electrical wiring, control panels, and piping to ensure proper system functionality.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to integrate HVAC systems into new or existing buildings.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of HVAC systems.
- Inspect, clean, and replace air filters, coils, and other system components as needed.
- Test and troubleshoot system controls, thermostats, and sensors.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education
- Valid Drivers License
- EPA Certification
- Licensed and OSHA Certified
- Experience with operation and maintenance of chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, and geothermal systems
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
