About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously from planning through execution and successful delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and dependencies while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and proactively resolve project risks, issues, and roadblocks.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Product, Finance, Cybersecurity, and executive stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate resources across multiple departments and vendors.
- Facilitate project meetings, requirements gathering, steering committees, and executive status reviews.
- Apply PMO standards, governance processes, and project management best practices.
- Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators.
- Recommend process improvements that increase project delivery effectiveness.
- Drive adoption of consistent project management methodologies across assigned initiatives.
- Track project budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
- Monitor project performance against approved timelines and financial plans.
- Support project prioritization and resource planning in partnership with department leadership.
- Prepare executive-level reporting on project health, milestones, risks, and budget status.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent industry training
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a Project Manager role.
- Minimum 3 years recent exposure and experience in a Technology environment.
- Deep understanding of Project Management tools and approaches and the ability to utilize them to manage complex projects.
- Experience managing budgets preferred
- Media industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
- Ability to drive projects from planning through execution while mitigating risks and ensuring successful delivery.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
