About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide both clinical and administrative support while working closely with clinicians
Conduct in-home member visits and field-based care delivery
Complete all basic patient intake with demonstrated competency
Support ongoing HEDIS and population health initiatives throughout the year
Deliver excellent customer service for every member
Conduct in-home member visits including vitals collection and basic assessments
Facilitate referrals / authorizations for members
Participate in special initiatives and evolving care programs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3 years' experience as a medical assistant preferably in a physician office including working knowledge of managed care.
Familiar with medical terminology
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Proficient with the following applications: FaceTime, WhatsApp, other video applications
Completion of accredited medical assistant program.
High school diploma.
Current, valid, unrestricted driver's license and reliable transportation.
CPR / First Aid Certification.
