About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development of solar and storage projects from secured land through to RTB and FID
- Identify permitting requirements and assist in managing permit applications
- Coordinate external consultants to ensure high-quality project deliverables
- Track project budgets and timelines diligently to ensure projects stay on target
- Assist in financial modelling and risk assessments to support sound investment decisions
- Identify development risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
- Support project presentations for internal approvals and investment decisions
- Collaborate with grid operators and landowners
- Support coordination across stakeholders to keep projects on track
- Contribute to site evaluation and communication with landowners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate position or 1-2 years work experience from graduation
- Degree in engineering, energy, environmental studies, business, or a related field
- Strong interest in renewable energy, particularly solar and/or BESS
- Understanding (or willingness to learn) of project development processes
- Analytical mindset with ability to work with data, financial models, and technical inputs
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and disciplines
- Fluent in English
