About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and evolve the long-term architecture at the IT–telecom boundary through multi-year roadmaps.
  • Design reference architectures and integration patterns between IT, OSS/BSS and network domains.
  • Apply industry frameworks (TM Forum: eTOM, SID, TAM, Open APIs / ODA) to ensure interoperability.
  • Lead orchestration and automation of end-to-end services (fulfillment, assurance, provisioning).
  • Act as a liaison between IT and engineering, governing standards, decisions, and critical non-functional requirements.
  • Serve as a technical reference and mentor, raising the organization’s architecture maturity.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid background in IT with extensive experience as an enterprise/solution architect in large-scale environments.
  • Proven experience in the Telecom sector, focusing on integration between IT and engineering/networks.
  • Applied knowledge of TM Forum frameworks (eTOM, SID, TAM, Open APIs / ODA).
  • Proficiency with OSS/BSS systems and network domains (RAN, core, transport, 5G, NFV/SDN, orchestration — MANO/ONAP).
  • Experience with orchestration and automation of services (fulfillment, assurance, provisioning).
  • Strong integration skills: APIs (REST/gRPC/GraphQL), events, messaging, iPaaS/ESB and canonical data models.
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF) and modeling (ArchiMate); experience with multi-cloud/on-premises environments and Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills between IT and engineering; technical English proficiency.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or related field (or equivalent experience). Certifications in enterprise architecture (TOGAF) and/or cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD); observability and SLA/SLO management in mission-critical environments.
  • Track record of mentoring/technical leadership and participation in industry communities and forums.
