About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and guide the architecture of digital platforms and channels — web, mobile, applications, self-service portals and public APIs — ensuring consistent experience, performance, security, component reuse and integration with corporate systems and back-end platforms.
  • Serve as a technical reference for the evolution of digital platforms and channels, guiding strategic architecture decisions and aligning the customer journey with the technology strategy.
  • Lead the modernization of channels and platforms, including micro-frontend architectures, BFF (Backend for Frontend), omnichannel experience and consistency of the journey across digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Design long-term architectures for channels and platforms, considering scalability, resilience, security, observability, interoperability, cost and maintainability.
  • Define, review and provide guidance on solution designs for new digital initiatives, integrations, system replacements, platform evolution and adoption of new technologies in the channels.
  • Establish and disseminate standards, guidelines, templates and reference architecture models for digital platforms and channels, APIs, microservices, events and integration.
  • Participate in architectural governance of digital initiatives, ensuring traceability of decisions, recording assumptions, trade-off analysis and use of ADRs.
  • Provide technical guidance to squads, architects, analysts and development teams for channels and platforms, promoting consistency across projects and domains.
  • Support the construction and evolution of technology roadmaps for digital platforms, identifying opportunities for modernization, simplification, standardization, consolidation and reduction of technical debt.
  • Support broader technology modernization initiatives — legacy evolution, distributed architectures, microservices, messaging, event-driven architecture and cloud-native patterns — that underpin digital channels.
  • Conduct architectural assessments of internal and external solutions, considering adherence to corporate standards, technical risks, security, LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law), integration and solution lifecycle.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and modern digital architecture practices, proposing adoption when there is fit, feasibility and business value.
  • Work collaboratively with security, infrastructure, cloud, data, integration and business teams to deliver complete, sustainable digital solutions aligned with corporate needs.
  • Participate in executive and technical discussions, translating digital architecture concepts into clear, decision-oriented recommendations.
  • Promote continuous improvement of channel and platform architectures, identifying risks, bottlenecks, redundancies and opportunities for technical and functional evolution.
  • Support consolidation of the architectural repository, technical documentation, architecture-as-code and corporate reference models.
