About the role
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with assigned Business Leaders to understand their strategic goals and priorities
- Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT, ensuring that IT strategies align with business objectives
- Deliver high-level updates on IT initiatives, projects and changes, ensuring leaders understand progress, risks and expected outcomes
- Support IT project delivery by ensuring business priorities are well-understood and reflected in IT plans
- Develop and maintain 12-24 month technology roadmaps that align IT initiatives with business priorities, organisational strategy and available resource capacity
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and the PMO to ensure that roadmap priorities reflect business value, priorities and strategic objectives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in projects or business relationship management
- Experience dealing with executive stakeholders and navigating complex projects
- Broad experience in managing high-risk, high-visibility projects
- Experience department demand and aligning IT roadmaps to strategic business goals
- Familiarity with the functioning of a PMO and steering committee
- Knowledge of key business processes (e.g., finance, HR, marketing, sales, ops) and how IT can enable, optimise, and streamline these processes
- Knowledge of how to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT initiatives, especially when dealing with business-critical systems or new technology implementations
- Educated to degree level (high grade) or above. BA & PM certifications preferred.
