About the role
- Lead the design and coordination of plumbing systems from concept to IFC stage.
- Prepare, review, and approve detailed design documents, including system layouts and hydraulic calculations.
- Conduct technical evaluations and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless integration of plumbing systems.
- Review and validate shop drawings and technical documents.
- Support site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and CAD technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in plumbing design and engineering
- Proven expertise in plumbing system design and hydraulic calculations
- Strong understanding of international design standards and local authority requirements
- Experience in value engineering and design reviews
- Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
