About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Senior Solution Engineer/IT Consultant will bridge technology and business teams to explain solutions, supporting design, development and testing by architecting highly scalable enterprise SaaS applications.
Designing client-specific integration solutions.
Liaising with other Alfa teams to prioritize and manage enhancement requests and roadmap.
Supporting internal teams to assist with issue investigations.
Preparing materials for knowledge sharing while mentoring and coaching other solution architects.
Designing solution architecture that makes the best use of Alfa Systems capabilities.
Delivering architecture practice and share in the responsibility for the success of a client delivery.
Identifying risks, issues and dependencies, mitigating risks where possible, and escalating as appropriate, including working through solutions with the client.
Maintaining stakeholder/project relationships with corresponding client staff.
Assessing and identifying product improvements and contributing to the architectural considerations of a proprietary, web-based platform.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience as a Junior IT Consultant, Junior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Implementation Consultant, or Analyst or related field.
2 years of experience in the automotive, equipment finance industries, or related finance sectors.
Experience architecting highly scalable enterprise SaaS applications.
Experience with cloud hosting architecture, processes & standards.
Knowledge of AWS, PostgreSQL, CI/CD Solutions, REST APIs, and data streaming.
