About the role
- You proactively design and lead challenging data science projects within an interdisciplinary team
- You routinely identify your clients' needs and develop effective, data-driven solutions
- You extract the data crucial to the task from clients' datasets
- You create innovative solutions using modern methods from statistics, machine learning, mathematical optimization, and visual analytics
- You successfully communicate your results to clients and then support the comprehensive implementation of your solution together with the Data Engineering team
- As a subject-matter expert, you participate in client meetings
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a comparable field with a strong quantitative focus
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience in data science and AI engineering
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data analysis
- Knowledge of software development
- Expertise in common analytics toolkits, particularly the Python programming language (and relevant libraries)
- Experience with visualization solutions (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with databases and Big Data technologies
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Databricks/DBX)
- Enthusiasm for project-based work
