About the role

  • Take ownership of the technical responsibility for maintaining and developing demonstrators for our business development
  • Actively follow current trends and developments in Generative AI through continuous research and experimentation with new tools
  • Lead or contribute to projects with a focus on technical steering — with particular emphasis on quality assurance in Data Science and Prompt Engineering
  • Design and deliver internal training to deepen team knowledge and promote continuous learning across the company
  • Actively participate in relevant conferences and deliver presentations to share knowledge and represent the company as an expert
  • Support the marketing team in customer acquisition and sales through compelling presentations (pitches) of technical solutions
  • Draft architecture diagrams for Generative AI solutions

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related scientific discipline
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English and willingness to travel as part of consulting activities
  • Experience in developing Generative AI models and applying them in real-world projects
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, with out-of-the-box thinking
  • High commitment to continuous learning and testing new tools and technologies
  • Excellent coding and software development skills (Python, object-oriented), experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS), and familiarity with OpenAI API / Aleph Alpha API and HuggingFace
  • Ideally: experience in probabilistic modeling, text processing & NLP, transformers, conversational AI, Stable Diffusion, hardware accelerators, physical computing, operating local (open-source) foundation models & fine-tuning
