About the role
- Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys: rapidly growing personal injury law firm with offices across the nation
- Property casualty litigator role to assist the firm’s vibrant and growing 1st-party property practice
- Manage litigation lifecycle: case management, discovery, depositions, pleadings, motions, briefs, and trial preparation
- Supervise and mentor staff; handle matters in state and federal courts
- Opportunity to work 90% remote / 10% on-site with options for salaried or production-based compensation
Requirements
- 3+ years of Property Casualty, 1st Party Property, or Civil Litigation experience required
- Must be admitted to practice in the State of Texas
- Experience managing cases in state and federal courts
- Experience supervising/mentoring staff
- Experience managing discovery
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Experience writing petitions, complaints, motions and briefs with little supervision
- Experience preparing for trial
- Entrepreneurial lawyer mindset to learn the business of practicing law
- Preference for attorneys based in Houston (additional states a bonus)
