About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Under direct supervision, perform tasks involving radiation protection principles to ensure safety for personnel, the public, and the environment.
Provide support for large and small deactivation, decommissioning, demolition, environmental remediation and/or construction projects.
Work with the waste group in the preparation, filling, loading, and unloading of waste containers.
Perform other project activities as directed by Supervisor.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental health, radiologic technology, or a related field from an accredited program.
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent radiation safety certification preferred;
Completion of radiation safety training and environmental monitoring protocols preferred.
Prior experience working on government installation, base, or facility preferred.
CPR/FA a plus
