About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Review, code, and record revenues and expenses in the accounting system.
Prepare weekly cheque runs and ensure the fee revenue received is accurate.
Track activities and enter the revenue data using CRM.
Classify, code, and record expenses and payables according to established clerical accounting procedures and guidelines.
Check balance statements and other information from financial institutions for correctness and completeness.
Maintain and input accurate financial data.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or related area.
A minimum of two years experience working with accounts payable and revenue data entry and processing.
Demonstrated ability in meeting deadlines, excellent attention to detail, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Working knowledge of routine clerical accounting processes and journal entries, internal control processes, and external audit requirements.
Strong computer literacy skills including MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Acumatica or similar accounting software is preferred.
Experience with CRM will be considered an asset.
