About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- During your apprenticeship you will be actively involved in agency life from day one.
- You will support real IT projects.
- Learn how to configure systems and assemble components.
- Work closely with colleagues from different departments.
- Provide user support and troubleshoot issues in first-level support with the assistance of our experienced IT team.
- Test, document and modify applications.
- Analyze and optimize internal IT-supported business and communication processes.
- Work with our IT team to implement IT projects.
- Set up and optimize Wi‑Fi.
- Get to know different operating systems from Windows and macOS to Linux.
- Administration and support of clients, servers and network components.
- A motivated mentor team will accompany you throughout your training.
- You will have fixed points of contact who support you and are available to answer your questions.
- You will gain diverse insights into all facets of IT and IT project management.
- And if things are quieter, you can use the time for internal training, school projects or team exchange – so you can keep learning continually.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Curiosity and openness to new things.
- A techie attitude with an interest in automating a wide range of digitization processes.
- Interest in topics such as systems management, software distribution, networks, virtualization and IT security.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems and networks.
- Sociability, team spirit and enjoyment of communication.
- Independence, commitment, flexibility and reliability.
- Good numeracy and good German and English skills.
- A very good intermediate secondary school certificate (Mittlere Reife) or Abitur (German higher secondary qualification).
