About the role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive information security program
- Define security policies, processes and standards
- Select and deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements
- Facilitate information security investigations
- Assure that the controls environment adheres to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks
- Provide on-call, extended weekday and weekend support for on-site and off-site locations, as warranted by critical business requirements
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise level security tools such as email protection, Security Event and Information Monitoring, Multi Factor Authentication, and IDS/IPS
- Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend and plan the implementation of new or updated information security technologies
- Play a lead role in maintaining information security operational documentation, policies and procedures and runbooks
- Prepare executive level reports for incidents or investigations
- Develop and define technical security requirements necessary for new products, services, and technologies
- Develop and complete security product assessments and evaluations, make recommendations to information security management and coordinate security project implementations
