About the role
- You convey agile values, principles and practices to the teams and across the company
- You support the development teams in continuous improvement and self-organization and identify areas for improvement
- To achieve this, you plan and facilitate agile events and track the actions from retrospectives
- You remove technical and communicative impediments for your teams and help them continuously improve
- You act as a liaison between stakeholders, the Product Owner and the development team
- You support the Product Owner in methodological matters and in agile requirements management
- You train colleagues in the agile mindset and help them break existing patterns of thinking
- You assist in analyzing and optimizing the agile development processes
- You maintain close collaboration with other Scrum Masters / Agile Coaches to align on agile topics and aspects
- Through collaboration with and support of leadership, you help improve effectiveness within the organization
Requirements
- You are a certified Scrum Master (all genders), preferably PSM I, and are passionate about agile software development
- You have a degree in an IT-related field or completed vocational training and ideally several years of experience as a Scrum Master; however, we are also happy to give entry-level candidates with less experience the opportunity to develop
- You have experience with the agile frameworks Scrum and Kanban — scaling frameworks are not unfamiliar to you
- A broad portfolio of agile best practices and agile tools further strengthens your profile
- You enjoy working with people, are independent, structured and take personal responsibility
- You are characterized by empathy, strong communication and observational skills
- You have excellent facilitation skills
- Very good communication skills in German and English and willingness to travel occasionally round off your profile.
