About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide clear, pragmatic advice on US and Americas legal and regulatory requirements
Support Corporate Development on fundraising rounds and strategic transactions
Partner with business, Regulatory Legal, and Regulatory Compliance on market expansion
Work closely with compliance, risk, and other LRC teams globally
Draft, review and negotiate referral agreements, marketing and sponsorship agreements
Advise on legal issues related to marketing, advertising, and promotions
Coordinate and manage outside counsel on specialized matters across the Americas
Use technology and AI-enabled tools to increase the speed and quality of legal work

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor (or equivalent) from a reputable law school
Active membership in at least one US State Bar, in good standing
3+ years of experience in financial services and corporate law
Demonstrated interest in financial services regulation and the fintech industry
In-depth knowledge of legal and business environments in the Americas region
Proven experience drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements
Strong stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated capability in managing and leading outside counsel
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
