Key responsibilities & impact

Provide practical legal guidance to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations
Support the corporate development team in connecting with fundraising rounds, mergers and acquisitions
Advise on and support expansion and market launches in new jurisdictions
Collaborate with global compliance and risk teams
Draft and review referral agreements, marketing materials, and commercial documents

Requirements

What you’ll need

J.D. or U.S. equivalent in Law
2 years of professional experience as an Associate, Counsel, Corporate Attorney, or related positionin financial services and corporate law
Admitted to New York State Bar
2 years of experience providing legal advice on financial services regulation and corporate law matters
2 years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and partnership agreements
2 years of experience advising marketing, advertising, and promotional compliance
2 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
2 years of experience handling capital markets related legal matters
2 years of experience in deal management and transaction execution
2 years of experience in transactional legal work
2 years of experience in corporate governance, advising companies on securities law compliance
