About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct and manage delivery of projects from beginning to end, including creation of the Project Charter and Project Plan
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
- Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; in a technical field, healthcare field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare or business with significant portions managing IT projects or technology deployment projects
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or actively in progress of obtaining
- 2+ years previous work experience in project support of similar experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
