Key responsibilities & impact

Independently prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with [HGB / IFRS].
Prepare tax returns and act as the primary contact for the tax authorities and external auditors.
Review existing accounting processes and digitize workflows (e.g., implementation of new ERP modules).
Provide professional support and guidance to junior colleagues in the team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed commercial training with further qualification as a certified accountant (geprüfter Bilanzbuchhalter), or a relevant degree with a focus on finance.
Several years (5+ years) of experience in financial accounting, ideally in a dynamic environment or at an audit firm.
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and current tax law.
Proficient with common ERP systems (especially DATEV or Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central) and advanced Excel skills.
