About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and own the overall event marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise sales, marketing, and company growth objectives.
- Develop and manage an annual strategic events calendar, identifying key opportunities to engage target accounts and industry leaders.
- Establish KPIs and success metrics for all events, ensuring clear ROI and pipeline impact.
- Own end-to-end event operations, including detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Lead the planning and flawless execution of a wide range of events: executive dinners, private forums, curated networking experiences, hackathons, summits, industry conferences, and VIP client experiences.
- Partner closely with sales leadership to design events that support pipeline generation and relationship-building with key enterprise accounts.
- Collaborate with demand generation, content, and brand teams to align event messaging, promotion, and follow-up campaigns.
- Gather feedback from participants, stakeholders, and internal teams to assess event success. Analyze performance metrics, pipeline contribution, and ROI; prepare detailed reports and executive summaries.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing, preferably in AI technology, SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Proven track record of owning end-to-end event strategy, operations, and execution at a senior level.
- Extensive experience planning and producing executive-level, high-touch client events for C-levels.
- Demonstrated success managing events targeted at Fortune 500, C-suite, or global enterprise audiences.
- Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior executives, sales leaders, and cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering premium, memorable experiences.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with C-level executives and industry leaders.
- Experience managing significant event budgets with full P&L accountability.
