About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Accurately perform sample collection activities according to approved standard operating procedures (SOP) and quality control guidelines
  • Collect adequate sample volumes at designated GPS locations
  • Maintain records of field data and samples collected
  • Coordinate sample delivery to the laboratory
  • Perform preventative and daily maintenance of designated equipment
  • Communicate equipment service needs with management
  • Maintain positive working relationships with growers, clients, dealers and other agribusiness agents as appropriate
  • Serve as a liaison between growers or clients and management as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Detail orientated nature
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Scheduling flexibility and ability to work overtime as needed based on workflow and deadlines
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (40 - 90°F) as well as wet or dry conditions
  • Willingness to grow and develop both personally and professionally
  • Must be located in Wisconsin
  • Ability to travel to different locations in Northeast/North Central Wisconsin
