About the role
- Provide strategic oversight and technical guidance to consultants and developers during project build phases.
- Lead the technical vision for complex enterprise implementations, bridging the gap between high-level solutioning and the team's programmatic execution.
- Engage with clients to gather technical requirements, assess current-state architecture, and map complex processes.
- Lead thorough code reviews for Apex and LWC, focusing on teaching design patterns, security best practices, and performance optimization to the developer.
- Design and implement scalable data models and strategies for Large Data Volumes (LDV).
- Architect secure, scalable integration strategies utilizing middleware such as Informatica and/or Mulesoft, and native Salesforce integration patterns.
- Lead the implementation of robust SFDX workflows, version control, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, agile deployments.
- Architect complex, multi-cloud solutions that unify Salesforce core with Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud to meet diverse client needs.
- Partner with client stakeholders to gather technical requirements and assess current-state architecture, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Assist the sales team by providing technical scoping, feasibility assessments, and high-level solution designs.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Salesforce consulting experience with a strong track record in large-scale, enterprise project delivery.
- Demonstrated experience architecting scalable Apex (Service/Domain layers) and a deep understanding of the platform's programmatic limits.
- Mastery of SFDX, CLI, and modern development environments to drive team efficiency.
- Experience architecting solutions for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, including personalized journeys and unified data profiles.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica and/or Mulesoft for complex data orchestration and ETL processes.
- Experience in the Nonprofit or Higher Education sectors is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional ability to clearly communicate intricate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
