About the role

  • Lead project teams through the full project lifecycle, from initial discovery and user story development to final delivery and post-launch support.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation forecasts, and budget management, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage project documentation, communications, risk management, quality of deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly status reports to ensure full visibility and transparency for all stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify, document and mitigate project risks, with focus on scope, schedule and budget risks.
  • Utilize Agile Methodology and lead Agile ceremonies throughout the project build phase coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and data validation to ensure a smooth go-live and adoption experience for our clients.
  • Oversee multiple projects in a portfolio concurrently, ranging from small engagements to large, complex implementations.
  • Build and maintain client and team relationships, fostering effective communication and high-performance environments.
  • Mentor junior project managers, as needed.
  • Handle change orders and manage different contract types, ensuring all changes are documented and approved by stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the rich and diverse culture of Agile Cloud Consulting as an engaged member of our fully virtual team.

Requirements

  • Formal project management training or relevant certifications (PMP, CSM, CAPM, ACP, etc.) required.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in project management, preferably in technology implementation.
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting.
  • Successful management of at least a few “enterprise” technology implementation programs or projects, over $500k in budget and impacting several departments within a large client organization.
  • Proven ability to establish relationships with, influence and deliver difficult messages effectively to senior client executives and project sponsors.
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple projects effectively on time and on budget.
  • Strong communication, organization, risk mitigation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing projects with software configuration, data mapping, data migration and 3rd party integration efforts.
  • Experience with managing teams across multiple time zones.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Excel.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Salesforce ecosystem knowledge is advantageous and experience with Salesforce CRM implementations a plus.
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations, grant-making bodies, and higher education institutions is a plus.
