About the role
- Preparation of the operating room and sterile supplies
- Preparatory measures for surgical procedures in accordance with the OR checklists
- Preparation for and assistance with intraoperative patient position changes
- Professional and competent instrumentation and assistance during surgical procedures
- Assistance with wound dressing, connection of drains or catheters, and preparation of required supplies
- Disposal and tidying up after the end of surgery
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a nursing professional, e.g., (paediatric) nurse or registered nurse / health and (paediatric) nurse, paramedic, operating theatre/surgical technologist or a similar qualification
- Enjoyment in working with people and empathic approach
- Compassionate care for our patients
- A manner of interacting with colleagues and patients shaped by Christian values
- Ability to work in a team and cooperate with all professional groups
- Motivation for continuous professional development and further training
- Resilience, flexibility and willingness to work
