About the role
- Assist with the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of development environments and production infrastructure
- Collaborate with software developers to manage releases and deployments
- Help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production environments
- Participate in automating and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Contribute to the development and execution of scripts and tools to support infrastructure and application management
- Aid in monitoring system performance and reliability, and assist with implementing new monitoring solutions
- Support the integration and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines
- Writing repeatable playbooks and procedures to bring OS/applications up to STIG baselines
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and working towards a 4-year degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 0 – 1 year of experience in a related field
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
- Basic knowledge and experience with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols
- Familiarity with containerization (i.e., Docker or Podman)
- Exposure to programming and/or scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Bash, C++, Rust, or Go
