About the role
- Lead hardware design for automated systems in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with UL, IEC, NFPA, and customer specifications.
- Oversee robust field device layout and component selection.
- Collaborate with customers during requirements gathering and design reviews.
- Mentor engineers, set strategic direction, and build a scalable, high-performing team.
- Develop and implement engineering processes to support rapid growth.
- Drive cross-functional teamwork and uphold Aegis’s core values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- Advanced expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and Safety over Ethernet/IP.
- Proven ability to design Main Control Panels and select components for complex systems.
- Successful leadership of hardware design for both new installations and upgrades.
- Deep knowledge of UL, IEC, NFPA, and other relevant codes.
- Skilled at customer engagement during requirements and design reviews.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and build scalable teams.
- Comfortable building processes and scaling a team in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
