About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with electrical system design for mission-critical and data center facilities
  • Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, emergency power, lighting, grounding, and life safety systems
  • Perform electrical calculations, equipment sizing, load calculations, and engineering analyses
  • Develop electrical plans, one-line diagrams, schedules, details, and specifications under senior engineer guidance
  • Apply NEC and other applicable codes and standards to electrical design and documentation
  • Coordinate designs with architectural, mechanical, structural, civil, and other disciplines
  • Support senior engineers in resolving technical and construction-related issues
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Develop knowledge of data center reliability, redundancy, and maintainability requirements
  • Develop technical and professional skills through projects, mentoring, and training

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • 2 years of building MEP electrical design experience
  • Basic understanding of electrical power systems and engineering calculations
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes, including IBC and IECC
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Revit and ACC experience preferred
  • SKM or ETAP experience is a plus
  • EIT certification or progress toward obtaining a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred
  • Experience with mission-critical, data center, healthcare, or other complex building projects preferred
  • Familiarity with data center reliability, redundancy, and maintainability concepts preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available
  • Relocation is not available
