About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage documents throughout all phases of highway and bridge construction projects
- Develop and implement project-specific filing structures and document control procedures
- Maintain and organize electronic and paper project records, directories, originals, revisions, and photographs
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and contractors on accurate and timely record-keeping
- Prepare and review correspondence, reports, contractor monthly pay estimates, and progress reports
- Verify and monitor compliance with DBE requirements, payroll submissions, safety meetings, and deficiency minimization
- Review Material on Hand reports, Daily Work Reports, and proper use of pay items
- Maintain proficiency in EDMS, SiteManager, and LCPTracker
- Conduct occasional field site visits to project offices
- Assist with ordering project supplies and equipment
- Work between home and office locations as required by project demands
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS plus 10 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- At least 2 years of leadership experience
- Preferred: 20+ years of experience supporting construction projects
- Understanding of TxDOT projects and documentation
- Proficiency with electronic document management systems (EDMS), SiteManager, and LCPTracker
- Ability to manage documentation for highway and bridge construction projects
- Ability to conduct occasional field site visits
- Ability to work flexibly between home and office locations
- Must attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location
