About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure and capital projects, from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and client billing.
  • Support procurement activities, including preparation and evaluation of tenders and contractor selection.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating across internal teams, contractors, and external partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with public- and private-sector stakeholders.
  • Implement project governance processes and ensure compliance with applicable standards, including ISO 9001 and client-specific requirements.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place and communicated effectively.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality reports, dashboards, and performance insights for internal leadership and clients.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support project and program decision-making.
  • Contribute to business case development, planning activities, and early-stage project strategy.
  • Support alignment of projects with broader program goals, funding requirements, and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field plus six years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Experience in regulated or public-sector environments
  • Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure programs (transportation, water, data centers, industrial, or federal projects)
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects or portfolios
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
  • Experience with AECOM systems and processes is a plus
  • Strong financial management and forecasting capabilities
  • Expertise in project controls, governance, and risk management
  • Experience with tools such as Primavera P6, Procore, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI and dashboard development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences.
