About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver California's most critical surface transportation projects in the Central Coast of California.
- Focus on impact analysis for biological and aquatic resources.
- Conduct technical writing including desktop reports and assessments.
- Manage biological compliance monitoring during active construction projects.
- Conduct surveys for special-status wildlife and nesting birds.
- Prepare technical reports to document findings from surveys and monitoring.
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with AECOM, client, and construction personnel.
- Organize project files and track project schedules.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, or a related environmental science field.
- 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in biological surveys and monitoring in California.
- Valid U.S. Driver License is required for this position.
- Independent travel will be required.
- US Citizenship is required.
