About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver California's most critical surface transportation projects in the Central Coast of California.
Focus on impact analysis for biological and aquatic resources.
Conduct technical writing including desktop reports and assessments.
Manage biological compliance monitoring during active construction projects.
Conduct surveys for special-status wildlife and nesting birds.
Prepare technical reports to document findings from surveys and monitoring.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with AECOM, client, and construction personnel.
Organize project files and track project schedules.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, or a related environmental science field.
2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in biological surveys and monitoring in California.
Valid U.S. Driver License is required for this position.
Independent travel will be required.
US Citizenship is required.
