About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee bid strategies, pricing, teaming, proposal strategies, and transition from opportunity to award.
Ensure proper prioritization, funding, and team structure for pursuits.
Provide market insights for pursuit strategy development.
Support legal, risk, and contract reviews.
Lead Readiness to Win process and executive reviews.
Develop and manage capture planning and opportunity analysis.
Drive proposal themes, messaging, differentiation, and innovation.
Support proposal pricing based on scope and required skills.
Serve as customer advocate and provide voice of the customer insights.
Identify and coordinate teaming/subcontracting arrangements.
Establish go/no-go and review gates (pink, red, green reviews).
Develop and maintain price-to-win analyses.
Plan execution with milestones and report progress.
Collaborate with technical/account teams for competitive proposals.
Partner with marketing on proposals and branding materials.
Support strategic planning with Sales Director.
Lead lessons learned and client feedback processes.
Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) opportunity data.

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA in engineering, environmental science, soil science, geology or an earth science-related field plus 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership experience
US citizenship is required
Candidate must be residing inside mainland USA territory.
