Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee a wide variety of colocation and hyper-scale data center projects
Manage the design of colocation and hyper-scale data centers
Conduct site due diligence and campus planning
Develop conceptual/schematic/detailed design through construction documents
Handle construction administration
Lead data center due diligence and design teams
Deliver projects that meet client’s requirements on schedule and quality
Host and attend meetings with clients and external stakeholders
Proactively manage and communicate project changes
Identify problems early and develop creative solutions
Develop technical and financial proposals for data center design projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
ten (10) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Master’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Architecture License (preferred)
12 years of relevant experience in design and/or project management (preferred)
Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred)
Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Professional (preferred)
Active or recent leadership in data center and mission-critical trade organization (preferred)
12 years in colocation and/or hyper-scale data center design management & engineering (preferred)
