Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, participate, and lead various styles of audit programs
Conduct/lead EHS compliance audits
Conduct/lead process safety management and risk management program audits
Conduct/lead supply chain due diligence/risk audits
Conduct/lead waste receiving facility audits
Lead development of permitting and EHS compliance strategies
Coordinate for management of client EHS compliance programs
Develop and deliver EHS training
Provide regulatory interpretation of EHS laws and develop compliance strategies
Maintain knowledge of current and emerging USEPA, OSHA, and state EHS regulatory requirements
Develop effective business presentations and proposals

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS + 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
6 years of experience conducting EHS regulatory compliance audit fieldwork
Valid Driver’s License
US Citizenship required
Excellent working knowledge of Federal, State, County/Regional, and Local EHS regulations and consensus standards
Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in engineering, physical sciences, safety, or related field (preferred)
8 years of EHS experience in a professional services consulting firm (preferred)
Experience managing EHS programs
Experience developing/managing EHS compliance programs
Professional certification - CPEA, PE, CSP, CIH, or other equivalent certification (preferred)
